Yale’s premier undergraduate folk music group.

Tangled Up in Blue (or TUIB for short) was founded at Yale nearly forty years ago. We sing four-part harmonies with accompaniment on guitar, banjo, mandolin, and fiddle. Our repertoire ranges from bluegrass tunes to the folk-rock hits of Bob Dylan and much more. We sing primarily American folk music, but are interested in folk music from around the world and love sharing our music with new friends and communities.
